The robot will patrol busy areas like Riverside Crossing Park, the Rock Cress Parking Garage, and the Dublin Link pedestrian bridge. It uses cameras, GPS, sonar, LiDAR, microphones, and AI to detect threats, monitor activity, and support police efforts.

Dubbot moves at a max speed of 3 miles per hour, weighs 420 lbs (190 kg), and stands over 5 feet tall. It works in all weather, runs 12-hour shifts, and returns to its charging dock on its own.

The robot will start patrolling in summer 2025. It sends live video to police, allows two-way emergency communication, broadcasts alerts with lights and sound, can be remotely controlled, and collects data for safety reports
