DAB Motors has unveiled a transparent electric motorcycle in retro gaming style
DAB Motors, a sub-brand of Peugeot, has announced a unique model - the DAB 1α Transparent Edition. This electric motorcycle combines retro aesthetics with modern elegance.
The design features a translucent body and carbon fiber parts made from recycled Airbus materials. The bike also features a comfortable Alcantara saddle and a sharp monobloc LED taillight. The front of the bike is highlighted by a 2.8-inch integrated LCD panel and a lenticular headlamp.
Under the hood, there is a 25.5 kW brushless DC motor that propels the motorcycle to a top speed of 130 km/h and 395 Nm of torque. It has a range of 150 km thanks to a 72W lithium-ion battery.
The model offers 4 riding modes, including reverse. The DAB 1α suspension is developed in collaboration with Paioli and includes a 46mm USD adjustable fork at the front and an adjustable spring at the rear for a smooth ride. The bike also gets Brembo radial brakes with dual ABS for reliable braking in all weather conditions. Grip and control are provided by wheels from DAB x FABA combined with Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4 tires. The weight of the vehicle is 125 kg.
The DAB 1α Transparent Edition starts at $16,651 and the edition is limited to just 400 units.
