A Chinese startup offered a flight to the edge of space and tickets sold out in minutes
Chinese startup Deep Blue Aerospace has recently announced the start of ticket sales for a 12-minute journey into space. The company has just announced ticket sales for this journey, which is just over 100 kilometers long.
While the company is new, it has yet to prove its seriousness to both future customers and major competitors. One of their first tests ended in an explosion. In order to succeed, Deep Blue Aerospace must conduct dozens of tests over the next two years.
Despite this setback, Deep Blue has a lot of work ahead. Another Chinese company, CAS Space, is also offering similar flights for $281,000.
